I created these book covers as part of a university module,
which were entered into that year's Penguin Book design competition.
A book cover design for a friend's collection of sci-fi & fantasy film reviews.
Most of my initial sketches are now trapped forever on an old phone.
I was messing about with ideas of the astronaut (who is the author ) fighting terrible intergalactic creatures, but in the end we both agreed it would be more appropriate to reference some of the films he'd sat through, in the making of his book.

I was one of 12 Coventry artists who were asked by local author, Aaron Ashmore, to provide an illustration for his book, 'Made in Coventry'.
I have drawn elephants before, but never so many gathered together in one place.
