Hi there. Welcome to the 'About Me' section.

This is where I do my very best to convince you that I am both fun, & interesting.

 

Much of my time is spent drawing, or making things, which doesn't feel in any way like work, because it's what I love doing. The line between my work time & my spare time often feels a little blurry, because a fair bit of my so-called spare time is spent being creative. I while away many hours building Lego - much of which is Star Wars related - making model kits, & painting miniatures. 

I've been learning to play guitar for about 40 years. I have a small collection of inexpensive left-handed guitars that take up far too much room in my tiny house. I'm a fan of horror & sci-fi ( films & literature), with a penchant for 19th & early 20th century horror & ghost stories. I like crosswords & puzzles. The more cryptic, the better. They're my (perhaps futile) attempt to stave off senility, as I get older.

 

I enjoy gaming. I was part of the first generation to really embrace home computing. I've had a fine collection of home PCs & consoles down the decades. Nowadays I tend to gravitate towards more gentle, less frantic, games. I'm happiest when I'm building a medieval village, or gathering in the crops for winter.
