The Coventry Sports & Leisure Centre, aka 'The Elephant Building'.

It often seems that The Coventry Elephant Building divides opinion more than anything else in the

city. Some cite it as a hideous example of Brutalist architecture, whilst others (myself included) see it highly idiosyncratic, & gloriously original. Whatever your thoughts, the fact is, the Coventry Elephant has been woefully neglected in recent years, & is nowadays an empty, decaying, shell.

My illustration is based on a photo I took some years ago.

The 'Gloster Meteor' - The RAF's first active jet-powered aircraft.

Made possible by pioneering endeavours of Sir Frank Whittle, & his turbojet engine.

I live about 2 minute's walk from his birthplace, & the about same distance from Hearsall Common.

At one corner of the common is a small plaque that tells us that this is the place where,

as a child, Sir Frank 'first felt the power of flight'.

I've loved dinosaurs since I first heard about dinosaurs, and that's a long time ago.

This is an illustration I did a few years ago, bringing many of those majestic prehistoric creatures together. it's not scientifically, nor historically, accurate. But then again, neither is 'Jurassic Park'.

How many of them can your recognise? There's a list below, to help.

A2. Photoshop.

Poster design for the stage play 'Enron'.

Created as part of a university project.

A3. Hand-drawn, & Photoshop.
