Icarus crops up in two of my Prog Posters: In my Rush tribute he represents the song 'Bravado', in which he plays the role of a mythological metaphor for over-extending one's (literally) lofty ambitions.
In my Marillion illustration he earns his place by dint of a mention in the song 'The Great Escape', where he's used to represents a crash from a very high place:
"Icarus would know a mountain isn't far to fall, when you've fallen from the moon."
If you're familiar with the album 'Brave', you'll understand. If not ... then I heartily recommend you listen to the album, it's superb.
